AGE - 3
We were in a seal reserve helping my Mom count the seal colony.
The seals are used to visitors and therefore have no fear of
humans.
Myself and my sister
spent many hours on the beach playing with seal pups.
There was one time I got really upset with the baby seals.
I kept on putting them in straight lines and the damn seals kept
on moving and disrupting my straight line :-)
I guess I was a perfectionist when I was small.
Imagine how difficult it was for a 3 year old to keep about 5
seals in a straight line. My mother was laughing at my mission.
This was fairly difficult for me to ignore in life, growing up as
a perfectionist in a complete non-perfect world.
But I guess I had to adapt to it.
And that’s what made my life so interesting and even dangerous
when you become too inquisitive or attempt too much.
