LEFT ON THE ROAD

AGE – 4

 What do you really expect 2 young siblings to do when they have spent most of their lives at the back of a 4x4.  Of course we would argue.  And to top it all off, we were both very naughty, in a sense.  I really could not remember why I was arguing with my sister, but I can never forget what my mom did at that time.  She stopped the car, and told us to get out.  She left us on the side of the road, and we watched her drive away.  I didn’t take us much time to consider our options. 

It was like we finally stood up for each other and started to compare options of leaving this dangerous road stop.  We had decided to start walking in the direction that my mom had drove away and we would try and get a lift from anybody that would drive past us in that direction.  Despite this being a very deserted area.  The first car actually passed us, slowed down and stopped at the side of the road, about 100meters away.  Suddenly the car drove away so we just kept on walking.  Within seconds my mother arrived and picked us up.  Imagine if we weren’t there.
